Teachers

For over ten years, Shira has taught literature and languages to kindergarteners, high-schoolers, and adults in schools like Berlitz and the University of Maryland. Her palpable passion for communication and commitment to the art of teaching have guided her to what she describes as “the most valuable language of all”—awareness.

Shira works regularly with at-risk youth in DC in the heart of Washington, DC (see video at http://www.irest.us/irestforkids). She also delivers workshops to health professionals, educators, and others interested in reducing tension and increasing their sense of well-being in the DC/MD area and Israel.

Shira is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Spanish and lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.
